Hello Consignors,
We are excited for the 2012 Badlands Spring Select Horse Sale to be held March 24 at the Silver Sage, Brooks, Alberta. This will be our 3rd annual sale.
Badlands Spring Select Horse Sale will accept up to 50 head of broke horses. The Committee has the right to accept or decline a horse. Horses may be papered or grade horses but must be broke to ride and must be rode through the ring.
The sale will start at 1:30 pm on Saturday. You have the opportunity to demonstrate your horse on Saturday morning and you may have the use of the arena Friday night to exercise. Some stock will be available for you to use for a minimal fee. Horses must be there Friday night by 6 PM
Consignor cost is $350.00 per horse non-refundable – this includes all sales fees, advertising including nothernhorse.com and printed catalog, also includes Friday night use of arena, box stall and use of wash bay. There is no commission this is your total cost. You may put a reasonable reserve on your horse.
If your horse is registered, a COPY of papers must accompany entry form and fee. Papers must be registered in the sellers name. THE ORIGINAL PAPERS & A SIGNED TRANSFER must be handed in to sales office Friday night or your horse will be sold as a grade horse. The transfer and the cost of transfer become the responsibility of the purchaser. SELLER MUST SUPPLY A GOOD QUALITY HALTER.
Please indicate with your catalog writeup any accomplishments or outstanding traits. Please send 2 good quality 4X6 pictures for the catalog and internet, and a video (optional) of your horse working.
